Maintaining proper temperature is integral in avoiding danger temperatures and staying within the CCP’s.  Proper functioning refrigeration equipment will assist you in doing so. 

The following illustrates what our certified technicians check during scheduled PM visits:

• Clean and inspect the condensing and evaporator coils.
• Clean and inspect all gaskets and ensure proper sealing and cleanliness.
• Ensure all hinges, door closers and removable parts are operating properly.
• Lubricate any and all moving parts.
• Tighten any electrical connectors.
• Document the temperature.
• Note the cycling of the compressor; any adjustments to prevent downtime and/or to increase efficiency will be completed at this time.
