Joe founded the company in 1991 and has worked tirelessly to make JWS the best in the industry. He has transitioned away from a full-time technician to effectively focus on administrative tasks, however he is still involved in almost every facet of our day-to-day operation. Joe enjoys spending time with his family, a nice beach day and an occasional trip to Foxwoods.
As Director of Operations at Joe Warren & Sons, Chris is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the company and ensuring that JWS is meeting customer needs and company goals. Additional responsibilities include business development and vendor relations. Chris holds a degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management, and he is one of Joe’s three sons working with the company. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Joan is a born organizer who enjoys coming to work and getting things done. She values the relationships she has with the people she speaks with over the phone, as well as her coworkers. Joan grew up in West Roxbury, graduated from Mass Bay in Wellesley, works in Norwood and enjoys many weekends at the beach in Hull, which shows how much she values the area. She loves spending time with her growing family, while she also likes to travel and read.
Betty teamed up with Joe at the very beginning and has been a major part of our company for over 25 years. She has worked in all aspects of billing and serves as our HR Department & Controller, as well as many other roles. Betty loves spending time with her grandchildren and is rumored to be a terrific cook. She may also be the biggest Red Sox fan out there!
As Assistant Director of Operations at Joe Warren & Sons, Sean is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the New Hampshire office. His responsibilities include managing service contracts and handling PM proposals, as well as working with Chris on building relationships with new customers, manufactures, dealers, and equipment Reps. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
John has amassed 12 years in Food & Beverage management at some of the finest resorts on the East Coast, including 5 years as managing partner of an independent full service restaurant. He most recently led an East Coast sales team overseeing the distribution of equipment and supplies to hotels and resorts from one of the largest companies in the hospitality industry. John enjoys spending time with family, travel, golf, and anything Boston sports related.
Kim has worked at Joe Warren & Sons for over 10 years and oversees many day-to-day objectives as Service Manager including dispatch, scheduling and training. Chances are if you have used our services before, you have been in contact with Kim. She loves music, Disney World, craft breweries and watching her daughter play softball.
Steve brings over 30 years of industry experience into his job as a Service Manager. His knowledge of Boston’s cities, food equipment, manufacturers and vendors allows him to excel in managing our technicians’ schedules and our clients’ needs. Steve’s patience and adaptability are key factors in his success. Steve enjoys spending time with his family and fishing during the summers, as well as an occasional ocean cruise in waters far warmer than the Boston Harbor.
Steve joined our Parts Department in 2017 bringing with him 18 years of quality experience in the industry at the time. As our recently appointed Inside Operations Manager, Steve oversees our vehicle fleet, building upkeep and still handles a number of parts order and quotes. He spent a lot of time as a technician which has boosted both his knowledge in the functionality of food equipment and his understanding of the parts he researches. During his time as a technician, Steve performed many repairs at restaurants and businesses located on Cape Cod, a place he enjoys spending his time. He also likes fishing and spending time with his family.
Nancy has been a part of Joe Warren & Sons for over 16 years and is a staple of our Billing Department. She ensures that each invoice is tailored to the needs of our specific accounts so we meet all of our clients’ guidelines. Besides sarcasm, Nancy enjoys sharing stories and recipes with her coworkers, and she also likes an occasional glass of wine and a good book.
Andrew works with parts orders, equipment quotations, our PM program and oversees a variety of projects within our company. He has worked with our company for 8 years and enjoys new challenges. Andrew is an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, while he enjoys traveling and trying new things.
Michelle has taken on much of the responsibility of our Warranty Department, while she also is a part of our Billing Department. Our warranty work is one of our fastest growing branches of business, which is evident as we continuously increase the number of manufacturers for whom we represent as an Authorized Service Agent (ASA). Michelle submits all warranty claims and often serves as a liaison for our customers and manufacturers during the warranty process. She enjoys going for walks and football Sundays, and she is always in the loop when it comes to the local news.
Garrett started as a technician at the family business and has thrived in his role as a technician. He has taken on additional responsibility whenever possible and is now managing the growth of our technician fleet both in numbers and training so we can better serve the needs of our customers. Garrett enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife and kids.
Adam has been a part of the Parts Department for over 8 years. He graduated from Blue Hills Vocational Tech, and since joining our team he has continued to build upon what he learned at school to become our main resource for refrigeration parts and quotes. He also helps maintain our refrigeration inventory and serves as “the phone guy” for our technicians’ Smartphone glitches. For fun, Adam loves spending time with his kids, playing intramural softball and dabbling in video games.
Patty maintains the research and equipment summaries included in our PM Program, which consists of part research, account history and pricing updates, and she sends the books out as well. Patty likes the busy atmosphere of Joe Warren & Sons as well as her coworkers. She enjoys entertaining friends and family, in addition to weekends of camping and boating in the summer.
Mike has been a member of the Parts Department since graduating from UMASS Amherst in 2008. When processing parts orders and quotes, Mike knows where to find the best deals and prides himself on saving our customers money. He is an avid sports fan, his two favorites being football and hockey, and he worked as a hawker at Red Sox games for some time. Murph is also interested in history.
Stephanie works with our customers every day over the phone and through email to help guide them through each step of the service process. She takes the lead in obtaining flame permits, answering the phone, sending quotes and works on a variety of other inner-office objectives to help keep things moving. She really likes hockey, hiking and camping.
Fred has officially retired to end 2019. We thank Fred for all the hard work he has put in with Joe Warren & Sons over the years and we will truly miss working with him. Thank you Fred!
Mike monitors all part orders and quotes for the New Hampshire branch of Joe Warren & Sons, in addition to maintaining the warehouse and stocking our technicians with what they need to complete their service calls. Mike carries with him parts administration experience from a company that he worked for that built jet engine components. He has used his prior work experience and knowledge to transition into the food service industry as a member of our parts department. Mike enjoys spending what little free time he has with friends and family, and looks forward to occasional trips to the casino with his wife.
Anne has over 12 years’ worth of experience in the service industry with her last 6 focused in coordinating repairs and installation of commercial refrigeration and beverage systems. Her knowledge of the equipment that we service and of the distinctive regulatory guidelines within our customer network allows her to fit in seamlessly with our Service Department. Anne enjoys snowboarding with her children and spending time with her family.
Bob is an ambitious member of our parts department who has prior experience in repairing residential appliances as a service technician. For fun, Bob co-hosts a weekly radio show which features golden oldies music and quick whit. Tune into 95.9 on Saturday nights!
